The Salt Lick BBQ, owned and operated by Dustin and Lena Rainer who make their home in Darfield in the idyllic North Thompson Valley, B.C., is a food truck serving up gourmet BBQ featuring local, sustainable, and homegrown ingredients. They will be providing us with an incredible, mouth watering buffet while we enjoy the music of Butch Falk!
Butch possesses a unique ability to bring the most descriptive cowboy lyrics to life, as his music literally transports the listener to another place in time. A dynamic performer, Butch Falk is always true to the cowboy spirit in all of us. He has performed at many gatherings and festivals including Canada's Cowboy Festival in Calgary and Western Music Festival in Tucson, Arizona. He and his wife call McLure home. No Tickets Necessary.

A bit about Butch...
Originally from Kamloops BC, Butch Falk has performed at many cowboy gatherings and festivals in both Canada and the U.S. In 1998, he was an Academy of Western Artists nominee for "Song of the Year" and also nominated for the "Rising Star Award" Butch was nominated for "Male Vocalist of the year" in 1999.

Butch has also performed at the Canadian National Finals Rodeo and Farm Fair at the Northlands Coliseum in Edmonton. Butch's music has been aired many times on the "Spirit of the West" Syndicated Radio program. In 1998 the Academy of Western Artists nominated Butch for Song of the Year with the song "Cinnamon" and for the Rising Star Award. Butch has recently co-written songs with some of Canada's finest Cowboy Poets (Mike Puhallo and Bryn Thiessen) for his most recent album "Wind in the Pines". This recording has been receiving great reviews from both Canada and the U.S. The song "Below the Kinney Rim" reached the Top Ten listings on western radio stations in the US and made the Top 100 for the last century.
